My name is Najae Butler and my golf journey began at age seven with The First Tee of Metro Atlanta (formerly The First Tee of Atlanta). More than just teaching me the game, the program instilled core values like confidence and perseverance that define who I am today.

My dedication to the sport has driven my journey every step of the way. As a youth player, I represented The First Tee at national leadership academies, claimed three consecutive high school regional titles, and qualified for state all four years. That momentum carried into my collegiate career at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I earned both academic and athletic honors while competing in conference tournaments and NCAA regional levels.

Though a car accident during my senior year at North Carolina A&T forced me to temporarily put my golf career on hold, it didn't stop me. Navigating that physical and emotional setback has only proven my resilience, and my determination to get back on the course is stronger than ever.

While recovering and preparing to transition from amateur to professional, I realized the immense financial and accessibility barriers facing other young women trying to do the same. So I worked to see how can I help other talented young ladies chase their dreams without letting economics be a primary factor of holding back their potential. And that's how the Golf Girls World came about.

As I was recovering and preparing to make the jump from amateur status to a professional status, I further learned how much of a financial burden it was for other young women seeking  to make the same transition. So I worked to see how can I help other talented young ladies chase their dreams without letting economics be a primary factor of holding back their potential. And that's how the Golf Girls World came about.

Welcome, I'm Najae.

FOUNDER | Aspiring Professional golfer

Golf is uniquely punitive for emerging professionals. Unlike team sports where drafted athletes are immediately stepped into a fully funded corporate infrastructure, a golfer is an independent contractor from day one. Before an athlete can win her first dollar on tour, she must navigate a gauntlet of entry fees, constant travel overhead, and high-level coaching costs.

For many exceptional young women, this financial friction becomes overwhelming. Without a baseline of support, athletes  are forced to compromise on their training, limit their tournament schedules, or exit the competitive arena entirely.

Golf Girls World exists to change that dynamic.

By providing targeted financial aid for tournament travel, access to elite performance coaching, equipment, athletic training and mental training, we prevent elite talent from being sidelined by economic constraints. We ensure that when our athletes step onto the first tee, they do so with the backing of a dedicated community—allowing them to focus on their scorecards and winning.
